This route was planned by komoot.
Took the bike bus from Ötztal train station to Sölden to cycle the Ötztal cycle path. It had everything a cyclist could want. Short, sharp climbs, rapid descents, great scenery and good signage for the great route. A lot of money was spent on this (bike bridges, road underpasses, etc.)
To try: From Sölden down the Ötztal is also good for older people like me to ride without an e-bike. (Postbus with bike transport from Ötztal train station to Sölden cost €10.70) Great panorama!
Ötztal Cycle Path from Sölden to Sautens. Parked the bike in Längenfeld on the way (no problem at the tourist info, even with a charging station if needed) and made a nice, short hike over the Brandalm and the suspension bridge. You can easily get to the Brandalm by bike (slightly different route than the hiking trail), the suspension bridge is only for pedestrians.
A very beautiful route through the Ötztal in bright sunshine, most of the beautiful cycle path along the Ötztaler Ache and the Inn
First stage of this year's TransAlp, with the best weather and pleasant temperatures. Tomorrow it will be harder.
