The path up is clearly visible and easy to follow. Unfortunately, the path down isn't immediately obvious, and you end up wandering around with your phone in front of you, trying to stay close or on the path. It's a bit adventurous but beautiful, with challenging trails and a fantastic view. From the top, you can see for yourself what a vast plain stretches out from Cagliari. We parked in a parking bay along the road.
The Monte Arcuentu, a jagged rocky ridge of volcanic origin, whose striking profile can be seen from afar, was on the agenda today. At the start there were a few short drizzles, but according to the forecast they should have cleared up by midday and would make way for brilliant views. 😀
