This tour had been on my list for a long time, and finally ran it today in perfect hiking weather (max 19 degrees ⛅). The tour has a high proportion of paths and we only met a handful of people. The tour must be a real insider tip, although you follow the Zweitälersteig a lot. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The wild and romantic Teichschlucht is really an absolute highlight. In the Hintereckhütte there was delicious raspberry cake with the best view. Then it went uphill a short distance on the Wildsau path, and then climbed steeply downhill through a rocky landscape. The descent was really tough! The last 1.5-2km went comfortably downhill on a wide forest path. 5 out of 5 ⭐

At the end of the year, another nice tour with my daughter 😍 ▶ ️ Directions: It starts along the "wild Gutach" ............. quite a run and perfect for warming up, but nothing earth-shattering now. It only gets really interesting from km 4.5 when you dive into the dreamlike forest of the pond gorge .......... this rustic path along the pond stream is simply a dream. You don't even know where to look first, the small bubbling waterfalls, the beautiful path or the gorgeous mossy stones with tons of trees lying across. At some point you turn left onto a mountain hiking trail, which crowns this super beautiful section of this tour. After crossing the main road, the first step is a short, wide forest path before you come to the Wäldersteig, on which you master the short but very steep final ascent to the Hintereckhütte. This is also the perfect place for a break. Depending on the season, the mountain hut is hosted and offers a variety of seating ........ including a beautiful view. The descent from the Hintereckhütte back into the valley then runs over the Wildsaupfad and is just pure enjoyment. However, the path is demanding in terms of surefootedness and sometimes very steep. Halfway there you have a wonderful view of the Simonswälder Valley on the "Spitzenstein". All in all, a wonderful tour that, despite the short length of the route, offers everything that makes a hiker's heart beat faster. ▶ ️ Parking: Medium-sized parking lot for hikers at the Hotel Engel ▶ ️ Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Today on the road in the Simonswäldertal. A wonderful tour that has an alpine character in places. Absolutely recommended 😀

a nice quiet tour, not that long, can be done well in between. The inner and outer calm also came from this - Komoot was at all forced. Everything is very well signposted. Very nice, you hardly hear anything from the road that goes down into the valley. Who arrives after the "walk" through the pond gorge and at the angel, but will then notice on the mountain, nooo - not a walk. And then someone should "muckle" over Farrenkopf, laughs. When you're at the back, you know what you've done.

The torrent tour is given as 686 meters in altitude. Of the 11km, more than 6km are on natural paths and paths. On the descent, the paths are sometimes very steep, so hiking poles are an advantage. A very special highlight of this tour is the Teichschlucht. I particularly liked this section. Today was another great round. Clear recommendation 👍

Some of the paths were very steep and rocky. Nevertheless, the scenery was very varied, and the nature was beautiful. Especially the protected forest with its mosses and ferns.

Beautiful, varied route with a lot of difference in altitude, paths are sometimes difficult to find, probably due to the heavy rain and wind, which caused many stones to fall down.
