A happy up and down on a short route awaits you on the promising Golden Head Tour from idyllic Elzach.
At Elzach train station you quickly leave civilization behind and immerse yourself in the green. A beautiful path takes you slowly up and over lush meadows into the valley of the Reichenbach. As you stroll along the Elzachweg, you listen to the soft rippling of the clear Elz. You leave the creek over open meadows and arable land and slowly climb back up. The Fischerhütte entices with delicious fish dishes and sweet cakes.
You will soon stand on the cross on the golden head and look down on Elzach, then you will return to the train station. At the end of the day, you can stop off in one of the cozy inns or cafés in Elzach.
