A small, lovely walk into the Wildental in the Kleinwalsertal near Mittelberg. A beautiful path with several alpine pastures. We walked to the Fluchtalpe. From here you can head out into the alpine terrain to the Fiderepasshütte or, like us, take a leisurely stroll back down.
The Wildental was the perfect place for a snack from the Alpe Widderstein. Always in view of the three Sheep Alpine Heads over which the Mindelheim via ferrata leads.
Wildental (side valley of the Kleinwalsertal) ⛰🥾⛰ Start at the chargeable parking lot below Mittelberg (day ticket € 6, Parkster also works). Then over a goods road and up to the Fluchtalpe, slightly steep and graveled, easy-to-walk hiking trail. 🐾😃🐾 From the Fluchtalpe, the path then continues in the direction of Hintere Wildenalpe with a wonderful view of the three Schafalpenköpfe, which is significantly steeper, but still very easy to walk on. For today, the end point was the viewpoint on the waterfall (to the left of the path) at an altitude of about 1520 m Then back again via the ascent path to the Upper Wiesalpe and from there back to the starting point chosen a slightly different path in the lower Wildental. All in all, a very nice, promising tour, quite easy to walk, accordingly plenty of activity in the best hiking weather. Paths dry Komoot: 7.89 km, 400 meters in altitude Bergfex: 8.12 km, 419 meters in altitude Apple Watch: 8.17 km, 412 vertical meters
This time our hike took us in the Kleinwalsertal from the lower Schwendle to the Fluchtalpe in the Wildental. After a short break with hop sparkling water, we went a little closer to the waterfall of the Wildentalbach. Dark storm clouds gathered in front of the waterfall and I decided to head in the opposite direction. On the way back we were accompanied by threatening noises of thunder and before we reached our destination we finally got a wet cooling down 😁⛈️
