Tieringer Hörnle High Alpine Trail

Start from the parking lot above the barefoot path. Parallel to this and up a beautiful valley to the Schlichemursprung. Continue uphill and to the Hohlen Ofen, a small cave about 25 m long that you can crawl through. At the height above meadows and above a holiday resort and the mountain hut (restaurant). Then always along the Albtrauf several beautiful valley views, if the weather is right as far as the Black Forest (Feldberg). Finally to Tieringer Hörnle and back through forest and fields.

It took a long time to finally find an appointment together today and go on a nice hike in very nice company. The Tieringer Hörnle always works and, like any of the eaves in the corner, is worth it And the crowning glory of today was that we met Kiwi 🐕 with owner Rusty, Uwe. Start and finish of the tour - Schlichemhalle Tieringen! From the idyllic valley of the Schlichem, the 10.5 kilometer round tour goes up to the plateau. Viewpoints always offer a magnificent view of the valley. The nature reserve Hülenbuch is a feast for the eyes of the blooming meadows. Great tour 😊

The spring flowers are also just beginning to bloom, and when the wild garlic starts to bloom, there's an explosion of smell 💣.

Before the last leaves fall from the trees, I absolutely had to get back to the Alb. I chose the "HochAlb" Tieringer Hörnle trail, starting at the Schlichemhalle in Tieringen. Despite the threatening dark clouds, the rain only caught me on the last kilometer.

A great round with a lot of wonderful viewpoints. Lots of sunshine and spring-like temperatures in mid-December. It's just a shame that there is almost no snow left.
