A scenic hike to the source of the thermal water in the Torrent area awaits you. You can reach the starting point Rinderhütte with the cable car (Leukerbad - Rinderhütte). During the ride, the breathtaking mountain panorama will get you in the mood for the tour ahead.
After a good four kilometers, you will come across the picturesque Wysee Lake, which lies at 2,337 meters above sea level. Find a nice spot and take some time to linger. The water in this lake has been supplying the thermal baths of Leukerbad with mineral-rich and heated water for 40 years.
From now on, it's downhill again. On the following path, you hike past idyllic alpine pastures with rustic huts. The Guggerhubel viewing hill with its summit cross is a great place to take a selfie. As soon as you reach the Torrentalp, the destination is not far away. Here you will find places to stop for a break. Finally, let the gondola (Flaschen - Torrentalp) take you back to the starting point.
