2024 January 31 Berlare Turfput walk 11km distance In every moment there is a miracle, A chance to see the world with full love, With open eyes and a heart full of tinder, We can contemplate the beauty of life. The sun sometimes shone its radiant light, The trees reflected on the flat water, but not their core, it was beautiful. It was chilly, but I did not let myself be disturbed, I walked 11 kilometers, that is a powerful feeling. Every day is special, full of unexpected beauty, Grab it with both hands, do not let it go, Do not be burdened by what comes your way, But see it as an opportunity to grow, to exist. On that day, January 31, 2024, I met a Birdwatcher, a new ally, Together we enjoyed a short but super cozy and friendly conversation, Afterwards I went back to my walk, And yet we forged a bond, solid as a rock. So let the wonder fill your mind, And cherish the moments you have been able to experience. Every day is a new chance to reveal, What wonders will come into your world. Let positive words adorn the poetry, The power of optimism is our spiritual guidance, Creating a smile in every verse, That's how we color our days with hopeful allure. So feel the magic of life, down to the smallest detail. Thanks friend Birdwatcher 🙏
Peat well hiking route, a route via hiking nodes of Routen (https://www.routen.be), 9 - 11 - 10 - 31 - 30 - 29 - 28 - 14 - 15 - 7 - 1 - 2 - 9. More than sufficient place to park at the Onthaalpoort Donkmeer (tourist information office). You are immediately on the walking node network between nodes 8 and 9, and you go to walking node 9 to start the walk. The walk usually runs along unpaved paths and shows you a lot of beautiful pieces of nature. Pay close attention when crossing the Berlare - Donkmeer connecting road (between junctions 14 and 15). We missed a sign there. It took us a while to figure it out. But that couldn't spoil the fun. Under a beautiful 🌞 we walked quietly on. The surroundings of the Donkmeer are really beautiful.
Classic among the classics. Ideal with friends, children and dog...
Did 2 km less than original tour….twent dark🤷♀️
Welcome to the land of lakes, ponds and marshes! A very nice walk near Berlare. Apart from a few hundred meters of quiet road near the wastewater treatment plant (km 7.4), the circuit is entirely on paths and trails and, for the most part, well shaded; an ideal walk in hot weather to keep cool. Water is omnipresent, whether in the form of marshes, more at the beginning, near the Berlarebroek, or ponds, like the Donkmeer (km 9.4) which we follow for almost 3 km. Picnic table lovers will find what they are looking for at kms 4.1 and 9.6. A very pleasant circuit, dotted with beautiful views and accessible to everyone. Departure from the parking lot at Donkoeverpark.
