This circular tour takes you through sparse mixed forest to impressive rocks that provide unforgettable views. In 2022, this round was voted Germany's most beautiful hiking trail in the "day tours" category. You start at the Bad Tabarz tourist information office. You climb up to the Hexenbank via the rustic Zimmerberghütte. One of many spectacular viewpoints that await you on the way.
This is followed by Gickelhahn, Bärenbruchwand, Findling, Aschenbergstein and other fascinating rock formations, some of which are popular climbing areas. You reach the Lauchagrund through the wild and romantic Bärenbruchsgrund. Along the Laucha you pass the Massemühle, the Lutherbrunnen and the Arenarisquelle with Kneipp pool. After you have cooled your feet, you hike back to Bad Tabarz.
