Start and finish at the train station in Donauwörth. The Kesseltal circular route is well signposted. First "roll in" along the Wörnitz. In Wörnitzstein the bike paths are shared. The 7-Kapellen-Weg is also on my "still to cycle" list.
Beldeschwaige was my starting point. Unfortunately, the farm was closed. Beer garden and all. Then to Donauwörth. I don't remember where I got the idea for the tour. It was something different, but also hills like these. I'd been nearby before, so why not.
Start at 10 a.m. in foggy Donauwörth on a great bike tour with the weather getting better and better. We took a snack with us because there are no places to stop for a break on the way. Finally, a delicious ice cream in Donauwörth 😎
An incredibly great bike ride – and hardly any people on the route (where were they all today?)...
The starting point of today's bike tour was the fairground in Donauwörth with its many parking spaces. From here you can also quickly be in the middle of the city if you want to eat an ice cream or something similar after the tour. The tour in windy weather and with many long climbs offered a number of beautiful views of the countryside.
