Do you fancy an exploration tour through the moor? Then head to Resse, a small town in Wedemark. Here you can immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the Hanover Moorgeest. The two-kilometer-long adventure trail leads through the Otternhagen Moor, a regenerating raised bog.
A total of nine stations invite you to try things out, observe and relax - you can enter the moor barefoot in a wading pool, master a balancing course, hop over tree stumps or relax on comfortable landscape loungers. You can also get to know the animal world - numerous dragonflies buzz through the air at an idyllic little lake, especially in summer. On text panels along the way you can get further information about the unique flora and fauna of the moors.
On wooden walkways and safe paths, this tour is a highlight for all families. Children can let off steam at the stations and discover nature in a playful way. The starting point for the circular trail is a car park, where you will also find a Greek restaurant with an idyllic beer garden in the middle of the countryside.
