KB1 - Eppinger-Linien-Rundweg (long loop)

Experience a fascinating hike through the history and beautiful nature of the Kraichgau on the KB1 - Eppinger Lines circular trail. This varied tour takes you to some of the most important historical and scenic highlights in the region.

The start and finish point of the hike is the hiking car park at Schlosswiesensee. From here you will immediately immerse yourself in the picturesque landscape of the Kraichgau, surrounded by dense forests and wide fields. The path follows the traces of the Eppinger Lines, a historic defense line from the 17th century. Information boards along the way offer interesting insights into the history and significance of these lines.

A special highlight of the tour is the majestic Ravensburg Castle, which towers high above the landscape. The castle not only offers an impressive sight, but also a fantastic view of the surrounding region.

The path then takes you to the historic center of Kürnbach. Here you can enjoy the well-preserved half-timbered houses and the charming atmosphere of this picturesque wine village. Kürnbach is known for its centuries-old wine-growing tradition and is ideal for a short break.
