From Dorfgastein you drive by car to the Hauserbauer where there is also a parking lot. Then the attack begins. First about 3 km on the forest road and then on a trail to the Steiner Hochalm. From there about 400 Hm fairly steep uphill to the pair of lakes. You could also ride your bike up to the Steiner Hochalm. But the sight of the lakes makes up for the steep climb. When you return, be sure to stop at the Alm. Not only a sensational view but also excellent food. The pair lakes are really beautiful in autumn.
Above the fog in the morning. The view of the Hochkönig from the Paarseen was somewhat cloudy today. Stop at the Steineralm. Back without any rain.
