Hiking
This beautiful circular hike takes you past five "peaks"—well, at least by Münsterland standards. The Tannenbültenberg is a respectable 104.7 meters high, the Lünsberg measures 92.5 meters, the Fliegerberg reaches 84.7 meters, the Hövelsberg rises 83 meters, and the Dönersberg 90 meters. In this otherwise flat region, these are small highlights. The ascents are gentle, however, promising a relaxed and enjoyable hike.
The hike begins at the Hubertusplatz parking area. From here, you'll walk counter-clockwise, collecting one peak after another as you make your way through a magical landscape. Enchanted forests surround you, and mysterious burial mounds from the Stone and Bronze Ages lie hidden in the terrain. Along the way, you'll find information panels with interesting facts about the flora and fauna, as well as the burial mounds.
