We climb up a pleasant forest path to rocks and viewpoints above Monthermé. A beautiful circuit, but you wish the Club Vosgien had joined. Although the circuit is expressly recommended, there are hardly any signs. Without Komoot we would have walked past one or two viewpoints. The intended path was particularly hard to find at the Roche de Sept Heures.
Beautiful circuit with a long, steady, rustic climb, which is rewarded with a great high-altitude trail with wonderful views of Monthermé and the Meuse loop.
This round trip over the hills of Monthermé is a bit challenging due to the altitude, but it is worth every drop of sweat - you are rewarded with a stunning view of the valley with the loop of the Meuse - great! 👍 🥾🍄🍁🌳⛰️
