Did this walk on a beautiful September day, after having read an article by Oliver Smith on a similar walk in 'Waitrose Weekend' (5/9/24): https://tinyl.io/BU2H . This should be pretty well identical to his walk as described, except that I took a brief diversion to see Guildford Castle on the way out. There is a bus stop near the end of the walk from which you can get the #32 bus to Guildford or Redhill. Note that I lost the GPS signal occasionally in Guildford, so some of the early routing in the town is approximate!
