This circuit allows you to explore the surroundings of Lure, one of the main towns in the department. Departure is from the car park which is located right next to the Ognon bridge.
You quickly set off on the Onde trail, which lives up to its name very well. Indeed, you begin to walk along the Ognon, lulled by the lapping of the water. This river, a true natural guide, lets you go at the base of the Saline, a leisure center where locals go to recharge their batteries.
A few kilometers further, you climb the Vouhenans hillock which offers a breathtaking view of the valley and the first Vosges foothills, notably the Ballon de Servance and, in good weather, La Planche des Belles Filles.
An orientation table allows you to better appreciate the surrounding landscapes, such as the first Vosges foothills. As you go down, admire the old lime kiln on your left.
A loop invites you to discover the architecture of Vouhenans, before heading back towards the starting point. You will have the opportunity to admire the body of water at the base of the Saline in a different light.
