Read this week that there is now a nature park gate to the Schaumburg and then walked this small but nice path this morning in a cool 2 degrees and sunshine. respect what the owners of the domain have created; there are even 2 treehouses to stay overnight. The view from the castle plateau stretches far into the country...in the good light today it's fantastically beautiful. From up there you can see 3 ICE bridges - the ones over Froschgrundsee, Grümpental and Truckenthal.
