Nice tour with a lot of inclines and lots of drinking options for the dog 🐕 and the view is great
The climb is steep and a bit bland, but once you get to the top you always have a great view of the high Ifen and the surrounding mountains, just like on the way back 👍
From Sibratsgfäll, the walk is initially relaxed, then steeply ascends to the Renkknie. The view from there is fantastic! The descent goes through forest and meadows past an alpine pasture back to Sibratsgfäll. If you still need provisions, you can find everything that is tasty in the local 24/7 shop. :)
Start at the Waldrast round in the village then left to Hocheggalp further Bereuter Riesenalpe 🛖 was strenuous first no snow - then more and more come up at all 🤔 it went at ⛰️RenkknieKreutz (1411m) no snow then down the other side more snow hard you could still walk (when it gets warm now it's not going well anymore)
The hike began on the road to Sibratsgfäll and led up to Renkknie (1,411 m). From there, expansive views of the Nagelfluh range, the Allgäu Alps, the peaks of the Central Bregenzerwald, and Lake Constance opened up. The blooming mountain meadows were beautiful. After a stop at the Hochriesalpe, the hike descended to the center of Sibratsgfäll.
Start: Sibratsgfäll (free) Head up the farm track, initially without snow ❄️ but the snow soon covered the road and grew deeper ❄️❄️❄️ until you reach the alpine pasture 🏚. Now climb the steep pasture slope to the "Hocheggalpe" 🏚. Continue along the track (farm track) to the "Hochriesalpe" 🏚. From here, there are several destinations to hike to. We walk to the left across the snow-covered ❄️❄️❄️ landscape to the "Renkknie" ⛰️. On a treeless, grassy hill, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view, especially of the long Balderschwang valley. Return via the forest path towards the "Gasthaus Waldrast" (Forest Rest Inn). It's open again – a stop is worthwhile. Halfway along, we took the shortcuts across a pasture slope to the Unterkrineggalpe 🏚 then left through a ravine to the Alpe Gschwend 🏚 a short distance and we are at the main road, the last few meters back to the starting point 🚗
