Presented as one of the jewels of Brittany, Ploumanac’h offers breathtaking landscapes. Located on the Côte de Granit Rose, it is a unique place in France.
The route begins at La Clarté. Don't forget to visit the Notre-Dame chapel before setting off. Legend has it that it was built by a sailor in gratitude to the Virgin Mary for having protected him during a storm at sea.
The route crosses the Christian Gad and Daniel Chhe sculpture park. This original place reveals no less than seven sculptures more than two meters high. This is followed by the port of Ploumanac’h and the Bastille park. Located between land and sea, this green space offers beautiful views of the Costaérès castle. This neo-medieval style manor is characteristic of the large holiday houses of the late 19th century on the Pink Granite Coast.
The route then takes the customs officers' path, concomitant with the GR 34. This runs along the coast and allows you to discover the Ploumanac'h lighthouse, also known as the Mean Ruz lighthouse. It is one of the most emblematic of Brittany. You then discover the rocky masses of pink granite which owe their color to the presence of iron oxide impurities. In the distance on the horizon, you can see the archipelago of the seven islands. It is the largest nature reserve in France since its extension in August 2023.
The end of the route runs along the coastline via beautiful green paths before reaching the starting point on the heights of La Clarté.

Free parking, but at first, the small detours along the streets are unnecessary in my opinion.
Then the entire route is perfect.
