Brochterbeck country Tour – Teutoschleifen

The Teutoschleife Brochterbecker Landpartie is one of the eight Teutoschleife, the smaller siblings of the Teutoschleife. The Teutoschleifchen are more like "premium walking trails" than real hikes. They are particularly useful if you want to go on a nice short tour before drinking coffee together on Sunday or before the next rain. The Brochterbecker Landpartie begins directly at the Brochterbeck hiking car park in town. On this outing, you first walk along the edge of the slope with beautiful views of the Münsterland and the partially flooded old quarries. At the model gliding airfield, it then goes down through a short, wonderfully green piece of forest before you have a view of Brochterbeck with its two churches on a beautiful path along the edge of the forest. Coincidentally, my way 🥾🥾 led me past the information board "Brochterbecker Landpartie" and since the sun 🌞 was supposed to shine so beautifully from the sky for another hour, I decided without further ado for this small round in and around Brochterbeck. 😊

Was a nice hike in nice autumn weather

We really enjoyed this hike. The pictures show pure nature. 🤗 Please don't get confused, mainly at the beginning of the tour the GPS system went crazy. Very often it looks as if we have left the paths all over the place. But that's not true, it was due to the GPS. But it shouldn't be a problem to find the way. It should be taken into account that there are also steps to go up. The view of the Münsterland, the old quarry and the hazelnut walk are among the highlights of the short hike.

Small but nice, that's how my lunch round was today. A really nice tour in Brochterbeck. Very little asphalt, great paths, sometimes a little slippery from the mud, but everything is still very doable. The weather cooperated, the sun showed itself again and again. And I really enjoyed the wide view over the Münsterland at several points along the route.

Including geocaching treasure hunt and thanks to shooting festivals small detours 😉☺️

The restaurants in Brochterbeck are closed on Tuesdays. So we went to Ibbenbüren and ate in the hotel-restaurant Bruges (zoodles as you can see in the picture). 😊

A wonderful tour for beginners. If you love the forest, this is the place for you.
