Thanks to the great collections from @Salzburger Saalachtal we came across this great circular hike along the wild Saalach.

First we went directly down along the roaring river, from the Teufelssteg to the Teufelsschlucht, on beautiful paths and footbridges. 💧🌳

This beautiful hike leads over the Triftsteig through the Teufelsschlucht along the Saalach to the Auerbrücke. Then the path leads slightly uphill in serpentines past a few hiking golf stations via Bairau to the Teufelssteg back to Lofer. Sturdy shoes are definitely advisable here.
