The start in Stavelot is a small highlight because of the abbey ruins.

Hiked this route and it is truly a beautiful route. Started in La Gleize at the December 44 museum and visited the Circuit museum in Stavelot along the way. I had hesitated about hiking the route the other way around, but I'm glad I didn't. The route turned out to be (in retrospect) the red route of
