This route was planned by komoot.
Today's tour has chosen Arlette. Great weather in the morning. From Campra it is easy to take the bus to the top of the Lukmanier pass. It's beautiful there, but there is a different climate. If you dared to take a step behind the wall of the house, you were willing to volunteer everything your backpack gave to wrap yourself. Thickly wrapped we went first along the reservoir. The wind was so strong that the chain threatened to jump off the sprocket. No sooner had you reached the uphill to Passo dell’Uomo than the next challenge followed. The wind was gone, but the path was more like a stream bed and therefore hardly navigable. So the first 300m up to Passo dell’Uomo could almost only be done on foot. Then you come to a beautiful plateau, which leads you to the junction, until the mountain path turns left to the Passo del Sole. This mountain path is very steep in places and only very few manage it by driving. Nobody from our group of four was naked and everyone heaved themselves up to the Passo del Sole. We were rewarded with a gigantic view. As a homesick Bernese Oberlander, I was even greeted from afar by the Schreckhorn, Finsteraarhorn and Eiger. And then the dessert of the tour follows. We cut into the trail that leads us as S2 down to the Alpe Plan Segno. It's hard to beat in terms of variety and fun. Just pure trail enjoyment. Then there is only a short up and down on a hiking trail to Campra. Arlette you have chosen a real trail pearl. Thanks for the great tour! It was worth pushing every meter up, and I'll probably be a repeat offender. All the beautiful impressions were too impressive to be processed in one swipe.
Day 3 in the Blenio valley: Start of the Lukmanier pass at 4 degrees. Directly after the reservoir, the path leads to the Passo del Uomo. Weg is probably the wrong expression ... at the moment it is more of a stream bed and quite difficult to drive. So it was more pushing work and less driving technique that brought you to the top of the pass. For this we could (had to) pedal hard so that the Passo del Sole could be conquered! As everywhere in this region, the views were overwhelming! In the Bernese Alps or the Graubünden mountains ... The change in vegetation was just as remarkable. Suddenly there was such a different picture of the landscape as well as the layers of earth and rock. In any case, the long trail from Passo del Sole was 1a and pure enjoyment! After day 1 (me), day 2 moelipesche, it was Arlette's turn today with plans and gave us a great spectacle! Nice to be out and about in such good company!
