This route was planned by komoot.
From Olivone, we take the old road to the Lago di Luzzone reservoir. Continue to the small Lago di Carassino reservoir and the moderately ascending path through the Val di Carassino to the Capanna Adula. It's a wonderfully secluded high valley with lots of loudly whistling marmots. At the capanna, we were served very friendly and treated to coffee and cake. However, the hut warden was overly optimistic with his description of the hiking trail. He said it's a bit difficult at first, but you'll soon get more flowing...🤔 Difficult was an understatement, and we searched in vain for flow. This trail falls more into the category of "if it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger." 😇 It wasn't quite that bad, but it was still extremely challenging. At the end, we included an experiment with the connection to the suspension bridge, which was more than worth it. We enjoyed an ice cream at the TCS campsite and a wonderful first day in Val di Blenio came to an end☀️🤗
