What a fantastic walk, starting at the church in Celles, in the province of Namur. After walking mostly through fields, you arrive at Furfooz, then at the Lesse, specifically the Aiguilles de Chaleux, a rock you can climb, offering a magnificent panorama. The descent from the Aiguilles is not too bad, but then you enter a forest, following a steep path. This inspired me to invent a new sport: descending on eggs, where you try to keep your bottom as close to the ground as possible. My record is 3. You continue following the Lesse for three-quarters of the walk, walking along small paths, climbing a 1-meter-high rock via a ladder, and ascending or descending steep, long steps. I enjoyed the company of the Lesse. After the Lesse, the Ywoigne, a small river that flows into the Lesse with small waterfalls created by beaver dams. All of this against the backdrop of oh-so-beautiful forests. This walk is highly recommended and I had a great time.
