Forscherpfad (Explorer Trail)

Researching things only works in a laboratory? Not even close. On this circular tour, children transform into researchers in the middle of the forest. This turns the 3.5 kilometer long hike into a journey of discovery.

It starts in the center of Ladis. If you like, you can buy a puzzle pad with colorful stickers here in the information office, which was specially developed for children's hikes in the region. Then there is a small mountain test. It goes steadily upwards, while you enjoy wonderful views of Ladis - with the classicist parish church and Laudegg Castle as landmarks.

You slowly approach the research trail via the water hiking trail. Here you can take a short detour to the turf grotto. For the first breather, there is an oversized drop of water with an integrated bench that matches the theme of the path.

If you look up shortly afterwards, you will see a man with a huge magnifying glass in front of his face, balancing over a wooden portal. This is the signal: research will begin from now on. Suddenly, for example, there are huge, colorful mushrooms between the trees. And a mysterious two-story wooden house is just waiting to be explored by the little researchers.

As soon as your hunger for knowledge is satisfied, it's a constant descent back to Ladis to the starting point. You can also reach the research trail from Fiss.
