This route was planned by komoot.
The ascent went very well. In the upper part it is a bit steep but not dangerous. Because it was frozen in the night, some places were slippery and it was very cold. There is a wonderful view from the top. I don't know what the crazy peaks are called. A friend found out that it is a monk and a virgin. On the descent over Rippa we had wonderful sun warmth and a beautiful view of the Breccaschlund and the mountains opposite (Schopfenspitz, Chörblispitz, Türmli and Fochsenflue). In the end we chose the Wälschi Rippa through the Brecca primeval landscape. (At this time of year - October - maybe the opposite way would be more pleasant, because you would have more sun.)
Get out of the fog and soak up the sun. Beautiful hike up the Patraflon. Practically the whole route was sunny and we hardly met anyone. Except of course down in Schwarzsee. It was teeming with people and it was impossible to get a seat in a restaurant. So on the way back we stopped in Guggisberg, where we were able to enjoy the evening sun on the terrace of the Sternen restaurant until 5 p.m.
