Last night I thought yesterday's tour couldn't be topped on this year's tour, today at the end of today's tour I'm not so sure anymore...😂😂😂 Great valley, beautiful driveway to the alp and then: amazing trail up to the pass, the transition to Ital. Aosta Valley... all but a few meters mobile, sometimes even flowing upwards, and later down the awesome flow trail👍👍👍 And all in front of a magnificent backdrop. Super tour, I really want to repeat it.. I'm already tinkering on a 3 or 4 day...👍👍
Set off in perfect biking weather. The climb to the Alpage de la Peule hut is on a wide alpine path and can be ridden without any problems. Had a small drink at the snack bar. From there it's single trail time to the Grand Col Ferret, which is all rideable... except for my carelessness 😡 The border pass offers a great panorama all the way to Courmayeur. We chose what was probably the most difficult part of the route, now and then there were passages that were not rideable... not even for organic bikers. The downhill is between S2-S3 and now and then S4 All in all it was a great tour, even if a bit short, but challenging. We spoke to locals and asked if there were any other tours to do, they said......if you've done this loop, there's nothing left for you here, because almost nobody rides it. 🤭 that only means the 2nd section down.
