The descent is rather harsh. Be prepared to carry your bike on several very small paths
From here, la Fouly, the round is a short hop. It's warm early in the morning. As driven, the ascent to Alp la Peule is easy, the path is beautifully shaped, suitable for gravel bikes up to the top of the pass. It's only going down then more demanding. Today I traversed to the Chantonnet and the Petit col Ferret, push in between and you need some caution. The DH from the petit is a normal mountain hike with often a deep gully. Again and again hikers there, but good atmosphere. Overall good to drive. La fouly has it all: bakery, hostel, shop and outdoor shop!
