This route was planned by komoot.
Its been a few years since ive been on this bike, but after digging it out the back of the garage and getting it serviced i was desperate to get out. We rode the kincraig to Newtonmore loop. This is a fantastic 35km loop with so much to see and do. Heading out from Kincraig we passed the Post office cafe (a very popular coffee and cake stop for cyclists) then carried on over the bridge at loch insh. Up and along through Insh passing the Loch Insh Outdoor Centre and towards the Ruthven Barracks. They are stunning and worth the stop. Into Kingussie passed the Gynack gardens and left towrds Newtonmore. Theres a fantastic cycle track all the way. In newtonmore we passed the highland folk museum and cycled the Main Street passed the wild cat centre towards The Glen Hotel. We stopped for a refreshing drink then the straight road back to Kincraig to complete the loop. A wonderful route!
