August 15, 2021, Pic de Comapedrosa Loop

Absolutely gorgeous!!!! I'll add that we didn't return via the route we came (8 km). Instead we took the shorter (5 km) route down the other side through the valley to complete a loop back. Choosing this shorter return route is a very difficult descent, but possible. Depending on who's with you, the pace can be very slow and aggravating, as it's over large boulders cascading down a very steep descent. It's an opportunity to see a different terrain, but it's punishing until the Pla de l'Estany
