A spectacular tour with a ridge walk and magnificent views. We skipped the two summit climbs to make the tour a bit easier. The view from up there isn't fundamentally better than from other spots. The ridge walk is the best section and therefore worth all the other efforts. Highly recommended.

A beautiful but strenuous hike in the Gruyère region. (Surefootedness and a head for heights are essential)... Scrambling up Mont Teysachaux.

From the Plan-Francey mid-station, we took the Switzerland Mobile Trail 270 over the ridge to the Moléson. The clouds somewhat limited our view, so we concentrated more on the things that were close at hand: soldanella, spring gentian, cowslips, crocuses, and anke balls en masse.

Unfortunately, the GPS via Komoot didn't work this time – luckily, I recorded the tour with my Garmin watch.

Our hike can be divided into three sections:

Section 1 – The Warm-up Phase:
We start at a leisurely pace from the valley station in Moléson-sur-Gruyères. The trail leads through beautiful scenery with fantastic views of the region to the Plan-Francey …

I parked in Moléson-sur-Gruyère and took the funicular to Plan-Francey. I climbed to the summit via the ridge path, following the Gros Plané sign and then the Moléson signs.
I came back down by cable car and funicular.
A total of three trips for 30 CHF/adult.

We start at the valley station: Moléson-sur-Gruyères (1109 m) and hike up to Molésons (2,002 meters above sea level).

I divide our hiking trail into 3 sections:
Section 1 can be described as the warm-up phase. Wonderful views of the region and the mountain.
The second section leads up to the ridge via a mountain hiking trail.
The third section …

Today, a group tour with familiar and unfamiliar faces from the Komoot community. We climbed the Moléson, then walked the ridge to the Teysachaux, and finally crossed it. Unlike the Moléson, the Teysachaux requires regular use of the hands to progress along the rock face in the upper section. Beautiful tour in perfect weather with a pleasant t-shirt temperature 👌🏻😊

I was already excited yesterday… Even more so today. Such a great tour! I first followed Route 270 (described here: schweizmobil.ch/de/wanderland/route-270), which first leads slightly down over alpine pastures and then quite steeply up and offers a lot of views. A highlight is certainly the ridge path that gives it its name. Very, very great, practically never exposed, but with …
