Meander past trees and a wealth of wildlife on this moderate route through some of the National Park’s hundreds of acres of forest.
In this case, it's less 'Moor to Sea', but rather 'Sea to Moor'.
It's worth turning back just before reaching the Falcon Inn to look at the tremendous views of the ocean. The best views are from the Ravenscar headland - to the east - at the beginning of the ride.
Further into the ride, Reasty Hill on its northern edge offers truly spellbinding views of Harwood Dale and Fylingdales Moor to the north, and Broxa Forest is a joy to ride through. The deep green sea of trees gives plenty of protection from the sun on a hot day, and you are treated to some excellent views over the dales below.
The ride is along a variety of surfaces and includes some steep hills. A word of warning – a bit of a climb right at the end towards Highwood Brow car park (they say that the best is left for last!).
