Departure: near the refreshment/picnic area of Val Falcina in Val del Mis Travel times: 1.45 hours Simple circular hike; glimpses of the lake can be seen at the beginning and end of the journey. Val del Mis is a very busy area in summer, so I recommend arriving early in the morning
Beautiful circular trail in the mis valley, starting from the Val Falcina refreshment point, all in the middle of the well-kept and well-signposted wood. (The parking lot is located in front of the refreshment point) Practically everything in the woods then you get halfway there are waterfalls where you can take a little break.
If you start on the right side of the river and follow an anti clockwise direction, the first piece is rather steep so if you need time to warm up start on the left side and walk in a clockwise direction.
Departure from the refreshment area/visitor center. Simple excursion bypassing part of the lower Val Falcina. You cross three small streams and return easily. Just before emerging onto the asphalt road there is a small promontory that dominates part of the lake for a break.
