We start this phenomenal tour directly at the Vuurtoren. In the Hollumerduinen we hike over dry dunes, through wet dune valleys, at water points and along the beach. Sun on your face, wind in your hair and in the background the sound of the sea, the birdsong and a lot of peace and quiet. We see how the interplay of wind, sand and sea ensures that the landscape can look different every day. On the only 9 km short hike, nature offers us indescribably fascinating and fantastically beautiful impressions. In order not to use all the superlatives for our huge enthusiasm - the large number of photos probably shows it - this is certainly our absolute Ameland highlight 🤩🤩🤩 !!!
On the way to Hollum we first drove past the Ameland cheese dairy. On a spur of the moment we stole a tour from Ulrike and Udo this morning. Thank you for this beautiful and varied tour. This endless expanse here on Ameland, whether in the dunes or on the mega beach, is breathtaking. Now we're relaxing in Sunset Beach, and after a short round of Hollum we'll go to the sea rescue demonstration this evening.🐎🐎
After the mystical storm, the sun is shining tomorrow. A wonderful tour through the southern dunes of Ameland and across the beach back to the sunset with a stop for apple tarte 😋
