Relax on the coast - Indulge in the beach tent all year round

Wear warm and waterproof clothing when it is cold and stormy, or pack your swimming gear when it is warm and the sun shines brightly. You will travel 11.5 kilometers along the coast of Monster. After getting a breath of fresh air, settle down at The Coast Beach House for a fresh fish with a glass of wine.

You first walk quite a few kilometers on Monster beach. The salty sea wind in your hair, the sound of the breaking waves... what else do you need? Take some time to let your thoughts wander and relax on the coast.

The kilometer-long beach walk takes you to the Spanjaards Duin, another relatively new dune of the Hollandse Duinen National Park. After this, follow the path to the De Banken nature reserve. These are two low-lying wet dune valleys, which are an ideal habitat for a number of plants and creatures. The area is therefore of great natural value. There is a large population of natterjack toads, but birds also thrive here. So keep your binoculars at hand, even the waxwing and the red-rumped swallow have been sighted here!

When you have spotted enough birds, walk back through the dunes and take a seat at the start and end point of the route The Coast Beach House. Here you can enjoy fresh dishes, from classics to exciting flavors. From The Coast you have a beautiful view of the sea and the beach. A fitting end to your walking tour!
