Watching flamingos and then winning - 20x toasting in Gelderland

April, May should be the best time for the Famingos🦩 in the Zwillbrocker Venn. So I took a day off and drove to the German🇩🇪-Dutch🇳🇱 border with Mama and Petra. We parked 🚗 in the free parking lot of the Flamingo route next to the baroque church 🕍St. Francis. This was also our first destination. A visit inside is worthwhile. Then we went towards Famingoinsel🦩🏝🦩. At the first observation hut 🛖 you could hear the screams 📢 of the seagulls from afar and you had to get used to the louder and louder screams. If you don't have a telescope with a tripod, you can see Famingos🦩, but only in the distance. It's nice here anyway. It's even fun to look for the pink dots. You can also use the telescope in the hut for €1. There is even a toilet next to the observation hut 🚽. But this is only open on Sat, Sun and public holidays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. 🤣🤣🤣. Our way continued around the lake.

On Friday evening Udo and I happened to see a photo of the Zwillbrocker Venn MIT 🦩🦩🦩 on TV (at the current hour). We didn't expect that the flamingos could be seen already. Full of joy, I agreed with Petra yesterday and so we made a nice trip with our men. Lunch was under the open sky in the forest. When we got home, our friends had latte macchiato and Belgian waffles with vanilla ice cream, hot red wine plums and whipped cream. What a culinary conclusion! Thank you Petra! 😘
