Nice walk for everyone. A good first part is in the woods, the rest continues in the grass with a constant slope. In June, splendid blooms of mountain cornflower, golden and Carnic lilies and irises, as well as a view to the sea!
Spring day with perfect temperature, long hike with always easy climb and never excessive slopes. Flowers in evidence with clear sky and panoramas in evidence immediately outside the hazelnut forest. Arrived in the saddle, Mount Canin and all its chain in superb evidence. Return on the same path.
Beautiful walk, climb not very demanding, you go up in a zigzag quite gently, clearly there are km, but neither the climb nor the descent is steep. Very scenic, the clouds, peeking out from the valley behind, helped us not feel too hot. Beautiful blooms of irises, rampions, cornflowers, orchids, button flowers etc etc. colors for all tastes! 1 single water point at the start. It's a shame that the refuge has been closed for a few years already 🥴 everything is closed, there isn't even the possibility of using it as a bivouac 🤷🏼♀️
