The Latemar circular tour begins at the base of the Stalimen-Gardoné cable car, just above the town of Predazzo. As anticipated in the introduction, this Tour involves the use of two ski lifts: the first stretch from Stalimen to Baita Gardoné and the second, immediately afterwards, taking the chairlift from Gardoné to the Feudo pass. Thanks to these two ascents you will save almost 1,200 meters of positive altitude difference, conserving the energy to fully enjoy the route.

The Tour begins with the spectacular views of the Feudo pass, one of the main tourist destinations in the Fiemme valley. Along the itinerary you will be able to admire iconic places such as Lake Carezza and the Costalunga pass, located between the Catinaccio massif and the Latemar. The route is characterized by exciting singletrack, forest paths and dirt roads that do not present particular technical difficulties. Also given the limited positive difference in altitude (just over 400 metres), this Tour is suitable for mountain bikers of all levels.

You can purchase the ticket for the ski lifts online at https://www.montagnanimata.it/prezzi-orari/. The summer season generally runs from mid-June to mid-September. Getting to the Latemar facilities by public transport is challenging, especially starting from Trento: it would require a bus change in Cavalese. I therefore recommend that you reach the starting point by car.

The route was done by e-bike, with wonderful scenery...a few interruptions due to roadworks. Overall, it was pleasant.
The final descent was quite challenging; I recommend considering taking the chairlift.
