A fantastic family friendly route which winds its way through the forest on quiet trails. Starting and finishing at Dixons Hollow there is the promise of a bit of an adrenalin rush at the end on the pump track should you want it! Entry to Dalby is £10 per car and free for Forestry England members. There are lots of great picnic spots along the route and if you need a post ride treat coffee and ice cream is available at the adventure hub on weekends in the summer
With a few extra berms thrown in for good measure!
One of our family favourites, the Dalby green route sets off from the adventure hub car park and avoids the crowds further down in the forest so that you're unlikely to see many people. It also some great picnic spots along the route, with the option to take the long or short routes (as this was our baby's first bike ride we opted for the short). There is a playground at the start and end of this walk, as well as a pump track if the family still has energy to burn!
