This route was planned by komoot.
In weather that was "not as nice as reported", we first went from Saarreguemines-Rémelfing along the Saar-Coal Canal to Saarealbe with the obligatory stop at the "Croco". Shortly after Saarealbe we left the canal in the direction of Puttelange-aux-lacs and finally back via Hambach to Saareguemines.
Very nice, leisurely bike tour from Saareguemines to Saaralbe along the Saar-Coal Canal and from Saaralbe over the Weiher cycle path (Iternaire aux lacs) via Holving, Puttelange aux lacs, Grundviller back to Saareguemines. Attention: the Pont Canal near Saaralbe is currently closed for driving over and under. We cheated our way through it😆
first relaxing ride for 2025, starting from the car park of Sarralbe to the Etang du Welschhof, to Saareguemines, then between the Saar and the Saarkohlekanal back to Sarralbe
