This route was planned by komoot.
Nice tour around the peninsula. Little shade. Refreshments at the southern tip of the island. Parking right at the start of the peninsula on the right
Great tour, mostly on cycle track or quiet roads. Beautiful scenery along the west coast of the peninsula. A few wrong turns to be tidied up!
First we move to the other side of the peninsula. Along the "wild coast" with the impressive rock formations and roaring waves - no one swims here - the route continues on first-class paths to Carnac. In the lively town with many small shops and restaurants, we fortify ourselves with crepes and a café and, after a loop over Carnac Plage, we initially return along the same route. The famous oysters (Huître) are harvested and processed here. On Quiberon we now take the route via Saint-Pierre-Quiberon back to the campsite.
Very nice outing, the wild coast is magnificent. A must see.
We took a bike tour on Quiberon, stopping to walk along the cliffs and the beach. We finished off with a crepe in Quiberon's harbor. 😋
