I decide for today to leave aside the "Turbolente" and "Piattoni" Milanese tracks to dedicate myself to something more challenging. We start from the very busy Varese but, after three bends I'm already on a narrow and safe road that then becomes a cycle path and takes me to the lake. I follow the cycle path to Gavirate and, after a few hundred meters on the Provincial road, I enter a small road and there, suddenly, the landscape changes. From Gavirate to the Lido di Monvalle the track is beautiful with the passage on a dirt road next to a stream in Besozzo and continuous ups and downs through the woods. The single track of the lido is beautiful, the Quassa woods are beautiful. A few errors in the track here and there and a bit of "Fangazza" but that's okay, it's been a while since I came home too clean. The only flaws, the last five kilometers all on roads and the lack of fountains. Today I was self-sufficient but in the summer??? Beautiful ride, I really enjoyed it.
Beautiful gravel track... Highly recommended!!!
2nd Edition, 1st experience! ..I already knew 80% of the route.. they are usual places.. wonderful experience.. after the refreshment in Ispra I opted for the long 80 km route where things became intriguing ..almost all off the road...🤩🤩 just how I like it!!
3rd edition (for me the 2nd) of the gravel exp. associated with the Granfondo 3 valli varesine. Nice event, with a refreshment point at the halfway point of the route (i.e. at the bar setteduequattro in Ispra) plus a meal voucher upon arrival at the Estensi gardens in Varese city. Some rough sections were more MTB-like... Just inside the woods if you didn't master the vehicle between puddles, "quick" sand, erratic pebbles, etc. etc. it was hard to get out in one piece 🥴 A nice experience anyway... Transfers included 😑
The 3 Valli Varesine Gravel track was resumed and slightly modified. Departure from Capolago and not from Varese for logistical reasons... beautiful route, shame about the perpetual fog and Siberian temperatures 🥶 but the dirt part is worth it
3 valli varesine gravel experience 3rd Edition, a nice track..*(Almost like last year only in reverse) 🤷♂️
Beautiful gravel tour organized by the All4Cycling guys, with polenta and beer at the end. Evaloon present! 🎄🎅
Pleasant loop starting from the Varese Nord station with lots of trail in the woods, view of the lakes of Varese and Maggiore. Cycle path along the lake and a pleasant stretch from Besozzo along the Bardello river. To better face the day, a lunch on the shore of Lake Maggiore in Ispra is essential. As a digestive, a short stretch on a dirt road and final climb to return to the Varese Nord station and return to Milan.
