Nice tour with the gas group at autumnal 18 degrees and sunshine 😃🌳🌲🌻🍂🍁🌤
Idyllic little round along the Niers. Start is the parking lot at the sports field in Wachtendonk. From there you automatically pass the small castle ruins and the mini lighthouse via the adventure trail south. At the end of the walk, be sure to stop off at the Schwalm-Nette Nature Park Center in Wachtendonk. There is an interesting exhibition about the origins of the region. You can also go on a bee discovery tour in the cottage garden. If you're lucky, the beekeeper will be there and introduce you to the topic. True to style in a beekeeper's suit, so it's also great for children. Wachtendonk is also a nice little place with pretty old town facades and cozy cafés.
