Today we have an appointment in the area and so only time for a short walk. From the parking lot we walk through the forest to the Mookerhei. At first a hill obscures the view, but once we turn right onto the path we really see how beautiful it is here. And then the heather isn't even blooming yet. From a hilltop we see the large grazers in the distance. A little further on we have a beautiful view over a dead arm of the Maas. We leave the heath, walk through the forest again and then take a tour around the small-scale fields where the blossoms are blooming beautifully. The route takes us back to the heath where we have a beautiful view. Then we walk back to the car.
