From the same parking lot as the day before, this time we walked the Appalachian Trail / Long Trail north. The forest and the weather looked much friendlier. What can be described as a hiking trail was in much better shape, there were even wooden boards over the swamp floor. And we had nice and interesting conversations with 'thruhikers', people …
