There are many attractive beaches and coves close to Padstow, too, including Bedruthan Steps, said to be the stepping stones of an ancient giant, and Constantine Bay, one of the best surfing beaches in the area.

Little Petherick Creek Bridge and View of Padstow

An Iron Bridge spans the gap over Little Petherick Creek and gives a glimpse into the Camel Trail's past as a railway line.

The railway opened in 1899 with this bridge being the final piece of the puzzle connecting Wadebridge and Padstow. The trail over the bridge has been updated to accommodate cyclists and walkers from its original narrow wooden path.
