Dunkeswell abbey founded in 1201 as a cistercian monastery. The present church was built on the site in the mid 19th century but is sadly now in a state of disrepair.

Dunkeswell Abbey is a 13th century Cistercian church open to the public, a nice break during a pleasant, if rather warm, walk. The piano inside offered me the opportunity to tinkle the ivories, for a few minutes😀
