Dunkeswell abbey founded by Cistercian monks in 1201. The church was decommissioned 10 years ago and the locals are attempting to raise money for much needed repairs.
Mud, muck, and beautiful countryside....whats not too like😀
Dunkeswell Abbey is a 13th century Cistercian church open to the public, a nice break during a pleasant, if rather warm, walk. The piano inside offered me the opportunity to tinkle the ivories, for a few minutes😀
