Dunkeswell Abbey was founded in 1201 by Cistercian monks as a centre of worship and learning. It is a hidden gem shrouded in history and well worth a visit.

Mud, muck, and beautiful countryside....whats not too like😀

Dunkeswell Abbey is a 13th century Cistercian church open to the public, a nice break during a pleasant, if rather warm, walk. The piano inside offered me the opportunity to tinkle the ivories, for a few minutes😀
