Went on a great ride around the Veluwemeer, me on an e-bike ⚡️ and Jakob on a bio-bike 🦵🦵..... somehow we were in the flow and therefore didn't take any photos. I had to stop except at the cute self-service trailer 😊
Day eight: Today we circled the Veluwemeer. Tip: Start/finish => car park at the Elzenhof cemetery in Harderwijk. The Veluwemeer lies between the provinces of Gelderland and Flevoland and is the largest of the Veluwerandmeere, part of the former Zuiderzee. It was a wonderful tour with beautiful weather. The whole route is a highlight. The icing on the cake, however, was the visit to the old Hanseatic city of Elburg.
Today we spontaneously went to our Dutch neighbors again. Despite the cloudy weather, it was a nice trip. I recommend Elburg, a small, nice town that is already in the Christmas holidays 😁
After a few weeks of very bad weather, and with pain from a back injury (discus), today we finally had a very gentle round in one of the most beautiful places in Gelderland. Who doesn't know it? Yes, Veluwemeer.... super beautiful. Quiet reed, with a number of stops along the way to tighten our backs, but it was so beautiful 😍😍😍😍 We really enjoyed the beautiful weather, nature, the entire reed.
Our final tour. Not soooo interesting, especially since the sun and blue skies were rare. But once around Had to be 😍. A very successful trip with Michael and his Womo. P.S.: I drove the total distance of 190 km with one battery charge. Rest at Eco another 17 km
We circled the Veluwemeer from Harderwijk. Extreme headwind on the north side, rewarded with a tailwind from Elburg back to Harderwijk. But who cares about the wind, I felt like the only biobiker that day ;-). The cycle paths were excellent as always, although many went along the country lanes, as is usual in Holland. Elburg is a place worth seeing, so definitely visit. There are enough places to stop for refreshments. Incidentally, public parking spaces in the harbor area of Harderwijk cost around €10.40/day.
The tour also started today in Elburg and took us along the Veluwemeer towards Harderwijk. There was a flea market on Strandboulevard West. At the end of the beach boulevard, a path led to the Cafe Walhalla on the beach island. After a city walk we went through the suburbs of Harderwijk, past Bloemkampen to a holiday park on the Veluwerandmeren back to Elburg. This tour was again very well guided by our tour guide Hansel. A big thank you again for that
Today the weather was fine, cloudy 🌤 but dry 😃. A great tour 👍
